THE PRODUCTION TEAM We are blessed to have many long term employees. Alvaro Calvillo, Luis Fuentes, Roque Reyes, Daniel Ramirez, Simon Ramirez and Rosario Reynoza have been with us over 20 years. They all complete a rigorous and formal training program which assures that they know the importance of the proper care of your trees.
After holding down the office for nearly 20 years, Karin now handles most of the business from her home in Washington state. Her house cats, Maui and Widget, will sometimes be heard in the back ground while keeping her lap warm at the desk. Through the power of the internet she can answer your calls while managing White Oak Alpacas. But between your calls she will be at the barn taking care of the herd with the help of her guardian dog, Chet and the barn cats Nala and Snickers.
(Phone Extension 10) The cats adopted us. Morning chores at Finch start with making sure they are well fed. Otherwise I may have to rescue birds frightened by their gaze. If only the care of my horse was as easy. At least the plants at my desk are patient. I might be misting one of them when you call. But rest assured that my computer is close at hand where for almost eight years I have routed your messages, scheduled appointments and massaged your work schedule needs. And speaking of that, during my evening hours I enjoy continuing education in infant massage and Shiatsu massage therapy. It hardly leaves time for a good movie or a better book. I am definitely a bookaholic.
ROD MANN-- (Phone Extension 14) Starting with Finch as a ground worker almost thirty years ago, I now serve as the regional representative for the west side of our service area as a certified arborist. As a "steward of the land", I hope to leave only beneficial footprints as I walk upon it. I have always felt honored to be entrusted with the care our trees. I am a cyclist and musician, rarely far from one of my ukuleles.
(Phone Extension 15) As a tree care professional for twenty-five plus years, I worked the first eighteen in my own company centered in the Pasadena area. Now as a certified arborist with Finch, I try to serve as a tree man with an artist's perspective. From San Marino north through central Pasadena and Altadena I strive to meet your tree care needs. But while passing through the neighborhood I try to not be distracted by an estate sale of hand blown glass which I have enjoyed collecting for years. By evenings though, I might enjoy a nice home cooked meal with my wife and friends; or perhaps some quiet time reading of ancient history.
(Phone Extension 17) I have always had an affinity for nature and what better way to perpetuate that than to take pride and responsibility in helping to maintain the landscape of the greater San Gabriel Valley area. I live in Pasadena with my wonderful wife, Kristiina, and our four children. We love to hike and explore National Parks, the surrounding foothills, mountains, deserts and have been known to make it to the coast on occasion. Having known the Finch family for what is over two decades now, I am honored to be part of what Fred and Randy have built. I began answering phones for Finch Tree when I was 12 and continued through my college years during my summer vacations. Today along with teaching dance at California State University Fullerton, teaching Pilates, being a wife and raising two young kids I find myself answering the phones once again. I will do my best to assist our clients with their tree care needs and if I don’t know the answer I will find one. By the way I have an in with the Boss, Randy is my dad.
