Raised in a Davey Tree family, I learned “do it right or not at all” from a young age. This remains my approach to business. A BS from the United States Naval Academy and two decades of service taught crucial management skills on a daily basis. Where people are our greatest resource, those skills since 1981 are key to managing a safe, productive and professional workforce... a workforce that our clients daily trust to the care of their trees.

Holding a BS in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, I manage the business activities from the San Gabriel office. As your Account Manager I meet with commercial and residential clients to the east and south of Pasadena. I believe through cultivating a relationship with each client, I better understand their needs and effectively help their landscapes to flourish and their businesses to grow.

After touching trees for twenty-one years through my own business and the Pasadena campus of Ambassador College and Auditorium, I then joined Finch Tree in 1996. As Operations Manager, I am responsible for the scheduling and conduct of our production teams throughout Southern California. In our central region, San Marino north to the mountains, I have the desire and responsibility to treat your trees with respect and to enhance their individual grandeur. I will manage your account for improved tree condition with reduced liabilities and affordable budgets.

Employed by Finch Tree since 1974, I literally started on the ground level. A certified arborist since 1997 and the wealth of field experience allow me to serve as Technical Manager in what has always been a green industry. As your Western Region manger I am honored to be entrusted with the care of your trees.

Our crew leader experience averages over 20 years of satisfying clients with superb tree results. Their recurring visits to your site assure consistent performance with the unique perspective of your project. We are also blessed to have many long term production employees whose average experience is over 13 years. For advancement they must all complete a rigorous formal training program to assure they know the importance of proper care of your trees.
